The Concept Map Viewer demonstrates a user interface using a canshare-select-[domain]-valueset-map. The domain represents a specific use case. The viewer focuses on three main areas:
  • Diagnostic properties – such as type of cancer, body site, and histology
  • Grading and prognostic properties – such as grading system, histological grade, prognostic scoring system, and prognostic score
  • Staging properties – such as staging system, stage, and prognostic factors related to stage.
Not all the information in a CanShare concept map is shown in the user interface. Please contact canshare@teaho.govt.nz for interface help guide, content details, and implementation advice.
ConceptMap

Note that this can take quite a while - 20 seconds or more - when selecting a new ConceptMap as all the ValueSets used by the map need to be expanded and downloaded from the Terminology Server.

Once all the ValueSets have been downloaded, they and the ConceptMap are saved in the browser cache, so it's much faster to load next time.

When a property value is selected in a control, the next property control in order will be automatically populated.

If the matched option is a single concept (rather than a ValueSet) then it is shown but is disabled.

Clicking on the property name will get the options for that property WITHOUT populating the next control.
